How to Add Tracking Links and Connect Promoters on Plots
Tracking links help you monitor event promotion and sales performance while collaborating with promoters. Follow these steps to create and manage tracking links for your event.
1. Accessing Tracking Links
Open the Plots app and go to the Host view.
Select your active plot (event).
Tap on Tracking Links in the event host toolbar.
2. Creating a New Tracking Link
On the Tracking Links page, tap "Create New Link" (available at the top right or bottom of the page).
In the Link URL section, enter a unique identifier for the link.
Common choices include the promoter’s name or the event name.
Example: If working with a promoter named Jake, you can set the link as "Jake".
3. Linking a Promoter’s Plots Account (Optional)
You can choose to link the tracking link to a promoter’s Plots account.
If linked, the promoter can view:
Clicks on their link.
Total ticket sales.
Number of paid and free tickets sold.
Revenue generated from their link.
If not linked, only you (the host) will have access to these analytics.
4. Managing and Sharing the Link
Once created, tap on the tracking link to view real-time analytics.
The following data will be available:
Link Clicks.
Total Sales.
Paid vs. Free Ticket Sales.
Revenue Generated.
Copy the link and share it with your promoter so they can start promoting your event.
