Understanding Event Analytics on Plots

The Analytics tab in Plots provides valuable insights into your event's performance. Follow these steps to access and interpret your event analytics.

1. Accessing Event Analytics

  • Open the Plots app and go to the Host view.

  • Select the event you want to analyze under My Active Plots.

  • Scroll down and tap on Analytics to view event data.

2. Key Metrics in the Analytics Tab

The Analytics tab provides detailed breakdowns, including:

Revenue & Ticket Sales

  • Gross Revenue – Total earnings from ticket sales.

  • Number of Tickets Sold – Count of all tickets purchased.

  • RSVP Count – Number of users who RSVP’d.

Attendee & Ticket Breakdown

  • Ticket Breakdown – Distribution of different ticket types sold.

  • Attendee Breakdown – The proportion of paid attendees, free attendees, and guest list entries.

  • Scanned vs. Unscanned Tickets – Tracks the number of attendees who have checked in.

  • Sales by Source:

    • At-Door Sales – Sales made at the venue.

    • Pre-Sales – Sales completed before the event.

    • Organic Sales vs. Link Sales – Compares tickets sold directly on Plots vs. those purchased through a shared event link.

3. Important Notes on Analytics Accuracy

  • The Analytics tab does not reflect:

    • Refunds – If a ticket is refunded, it will not update in analytics.

    • Chargeback Disputes – If a user disputes a charge, it won’t be deducted from the analytics view.

    • Promoter Payouts – Revenue automatically paid out to promoters will not be reflected.

4. Checking the Most Accurate Earnings Data

  • To view your actual earnings, including refunds and promoter payouts, log in to your Stripe dashboard for real-time financial data.
