How to Connect Your Stripe Account to Receive Payouts on Plots

Follow these steps to link your Stripe account and start receiving payouts from Plots.

1. Accessing the Payouts Section

  • Open the Plots app.

  • Navigate to the Host view.

  • Select your active plot (event).

  • Scroll down to the Payouts section, where you’ll see your total paid out and pending balance.

2. Connecting to Stripe

  • Tap “Log in with Stripe” or “Connect with Stripe.”

  • Follow the on-screen instructions, which will ask you to provide:

    • Email address.

    • Business information.

    • Bank account details.

    • Other required details to create or connect your Stripe account.

3. Completing Setup

  • Once you have completed the required steps, your Stripe account will be linked to Plots.

  • Payouts will be sent to the bank account you have connected.

It's important to set up your payouts immediately so that you can receive funds in a timely manner.

If you start to sell tickets without properly verifying your Stripe you might experience payout delays.

Hosts

Only the Primary host of the event can link up Stripe to the event.

For Hosts, please select your event, and go into:

Host Controls -> Payouts -> Click the "Login to Stripe" button

There, you will be directed by Stripe's onboarding with Plots. You only need to do this once.

Public Promoters

Please go to the web-version of the event page and click on the "Purple Promote {{eventName}}" button. This will take you to the Stripe linking process if you don't have Stripe set-up yet.

There, you will be directed by Stipe's onboarding with Plots. You only need to do this once.

If you do not see your full payout on your stripe balance, it is most likely because you connected your stripe after receiving ticket sales. In this case, contact 818-540-8446 to manually be sent the missing amount.
